A series of talks introducing seven women who have worked in the cultural sphere and who have been closely associated with the Friulian Philological Society, making a vital contribution in the fields of art, poetry, film, ethnography, linguistics, theatre, herbalism and more… Seven Friulian women who represent a veritable treasure trove of knowledge and whose contribution remains of great significance today for anyone undertaking research in our region and, more broadly, for all of us.
Sixth meeting: Tuesday 7 April at 5.30 pm. The topic will be:
Novella Aurora Cantarutti is a teacher based between Spilimbergo and Udine, and a highly accomplished poet in the Friulian dialect of Navarons, her mother’s village in the Val Meduna, where she has also collected the oral tradition of folk tales, publishing them in *Oh, ce gran biela vintura!…*. She has worked for many years with the Friulian Philological Society.

The sessions are open to everyone: both teachers at all levels, who will receive a certificate of attendance for 14 hours, and anyone else who is interested. Teachers must register on our website www.scuelefurlane.it.
